THE POWER OF THE SACRED MASK

For those who walk the path of the Shaman, and who participate in ritual, “putting on the mask” allows one to inject a new element into ritual work, going beyond normal states of consciousness to awaken spiritual states that lay dormant.

Using masks as instruments of transformation, allows the wearer to experience deeper spiritual change where states of identity can be altered to bring about a metamorphosis . Combined with sacred dance, the wearer is taken on a shamanic journey bringing the inner soul forces together to open an inner portal to the original spirit existing beyond conditioning to birth this spirit into manifestation within your healed soul, thereby balancing the forces of anima, and animus

In this class we will create masks, and through sacred dance (if you are called) experience a guided journey where the indwelling masculine and feminine energies that we all possess can discover balanced unity.
